Representatives of the Chicago Fire are in Madrid in the hope they can land current Atletico Madrid striker Fernando Torres, sources have confirmed to ESPN FC.
Fire general manager Nelson Rodriguez is scheduled to hold talks with Torres' representatives on Tuesday, the sources said. Spanish radio Cadena Cope was the first to report that the Fire's reps had traveled to Madrid.
